The Rollex Group, headquartered in Werne (North Rhine-Westphalia), is known for powered and non-driven carrier rollers, motor rollers, drum motors, belt rollers, zero-pressure system components, dynamic storage technology as well as for roller rails and accessories.
In order to meet the increasing demand from the food, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors, the product range and capacities have been expanded accordingly. Rollex offers a variety of solutions in diameter ranges from 16-130 mm. The roller are configured at Rollex according to customer needs. It can be made of different materials such as plastic or different stainless steels can be selected. Since a role consists of a bearing element set or one-sided drive and a suitable material according to the application, there are also many variations here. Everything happens at Rollex considering the requirements, e.g. sealing, material, food grade FDA in the field of bearings as well as in the application of various other coatings such as PVC, NBR rubber, polyurethane, epoxy resin, chrome, Teflon, etc. as well as conical plastic elements for curved roller tracks. In addition, especially for the food industry, roller made of HDPE plastic pipe were developed. As a drive element normally round belt or V-ribbed belt drives, chain or toothed belt drives can be selected.
If it has to be very clean and quiet, the offer of motorized rollers and drum motors can be used. For example, "oil-free" and energy saving through low self-heating in synchronous motors are important product features. This makes the energy-efficient drives not only interesting for applications in the food sector or in the cold store but also more insensitive to high ambient temperatures. With protection class IP66 in the standard and IP69K as an option, the synchronous motors are ideally suited for the cleaning processes customary in these areas. These units are manufactured by the partner company Momentum, that is specialized in motor roller and drum motors.
In the area of roller tracks, the series 726 can be used in chemical plants or sterile clean room environments due to hermetically sealed rollers with antibacterial components in addition to applications in the food industry. The roller strips withstand a variety of industrial cleaning fluids, for example, Hydrochloric acid. The wheels can be ordered cylindrical or with flange.
